The fort was beautiful with a large garden, situated beside a flowing river. We stayed in a room inside the fort, experiencing the same space the original inhabitants used. It was a double room with a wooden ceiling and windows overlooking the garden, and I really enjoyed the local cuisine on offer. The tables with amenities were dusty, and the water was only passably warm, never hot, which would have been nice after a tiring day in the cold.

The hotel is great; I called to book and they said it was fully booked, but online rooms were available; two weeks ago I stayed in the same room and was charged 3000 pkr for an extra mattress, but this time I was charged 25 $ (about 7500 pkr) with no explanation.
