The location was just right for a day of rowing in Sulkava, with decent common areas to get ready and eat. It sits in the middle of Sulkava, a stone's throw from everything, and offers simple basic accommodation.

The spot is well‑situated close to the city center, but the room was dirty and unclean, and it was hot on the upper floor. I didn’t receive the family room I had booked, and the toilets and bathroom were also dirty—no cleaned toilet bowls or sinks, and the bathroom floor had a lot of loose flakes. The previous owner’s time the guest house was very tidy and pleasant to stay in, but the current owners don’t speak much Finnish, making communication difficult. The yard has no flowers and has been neglected.

The sauna was included, and breakfast came with coffee and cookies. The bed and pillow could have been more comfortable.

The place has a good location and is a tidy, pleasant little inn. The room got quite hot because I didn’t dare leave the windows open due to the insects. Maybe the insects wouldn’t have come if I had left the windows closed.
