Convenience and price were positives, but the water pressure was terrible and the staff seemed somewhat rude when I mistakenly checked in three guests instead of two—seriously, what does that even matter? I left my room key in the morning and was questioned as if I had committed a crime.

The room was spotless and tidy, the staff were friendly, and the pool area was nice. The bath had no plug, so I had to shower instead; an AC‑free bath would have been more relaxing.

The room met our needs and we were happy to stay near Venice Beach and TJ Maxx while keeping costs low for our upcoming move. We brought our Siberian Husky, and Motel 6’s straightforward pet policy—just a deposit that’s returned after I clean up—made it a natural choice. The small room’s AC was super cold for my dog in Florida. The location is close to Venice Beach, so a quick Uber is handy if parking fills up, and we’re also near the highway, North Port, and Englewood. The staff were very friendly and attentive. However, the motel has weekly residents, and if you’re looking for a place free of smoking, drinking, and a picnic table in use, this might not suit you; otherwise, the staff kept the area quiet at night.
