The staff were clean and friendly, but the room was freezing and the air‑con/heater didn’t work. The window was broken, and the traffic from the 6‑lane state highway just 100 yards away kept us up all night. The space felt very tight, and it wasn’t worth €320 a night.

The little extras, the bar, the vibe, the bed, the service, the cleanliness, the quiet, the location, the fireplace – all were great. The room itself was cramped and lacked a wardrobe, but the wall hangers were handy.
