The spot, the staff, and the breakfast were all very good, but the bathroom felt a bit tight.
The breakfast was good, but there’s no AC or fan in the hot summer, and the room window faces the courtyard where everyone waits, even a table underneath.

The location was great, but the bathroom was a bit in bad shape, it was hot, and there was no fan or air conditioning.
“Good budget hotel, but be prepared”
The spot itself is great, but the lack of AC means opening the window brings in a lot of outside noise, and the street chatter doesn’t die down until 2am because of the market crowds; ear plugs could help. The ceiling fan only gives a slight breeze, and there’s no pool, so if you can’t stand the heat you’ll have to find another cooling method. With no lift, bring light luggage only. The hotel isn’t reachable by car, so if you book a tour you’ll need to pick up elsewhere (I usually go to Grand Hotel Tazi, about a 3‑minute walk from here). Breakfast starts at 8.30am, but most tours kick off before 8am, so you might miss the chance to eat there.
