The rate didn’t match the app, and the place felt uncomfortable because someone was drunk and they had to bring them in immediately.

I was scammed. The booking staff should stop rushing to list such hostels. Since I paid online, there was a chance it wouldn’t be accepted. I stayed 4 days: on the first day I paid at the venue, the other three days I paid through the app. When I paid on site they told me the listed price was invalid because they had ended their app agreements, and demanded at least double the cash. I told them I wouldn’t pay for the other three days and forced them to accept it. I even thought they might ask for it on the last day, but they didn’t, thank God. Many hostels in that area use this trick to lure customers and repeat the same lie. Some even refuse online payments.

The staff were helpful when I asked to fix a broken TV and replaced it immediately, but the room was just a little untidy.
