I landed for a single night to watch the elephants, and the place was oddly authentic, right in the jungle heart after the highlands. The hosts were friendly and chatty, and the village itself seems to thrive only because of the elephants. The courtyard is pretty and well‑kept, there's a parking spot, my room was clean, hot water worked, and the AC was on. The first floor has a bunch of souvenirs. Two nights here were fine. Thanks for the hospitality!

The hotel was new, spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. Hot water was available, and there was a kettle in the lobby. The lobby itself was pretty, with little sofas.

I’d strongly recommend staying here. The room was roomy and spotless, and breakfast could be ordered. The balcony is a big plus, letting you watch the orphanage elephants heading to the river for their bath. Manager Nandani is very kind and creates a great vibe. In the evening after we arrived, she took us through the small garden and pointed out all the fruits and plants. She’s a genuinely lovely person. There’s also a souvenir shop next to the guesthouse with wooden elephant carvings. Say hi to Nandani!

Staying at Greenland Guest House was good. It sits in a prime spot, and the rooms have balconies from which you can see the elephant herds passing through the lane—an amazing experience. The staff were decent and helpful.
