The host was very nice and helpful, but the place was very dirty—there were greasy layers on the appliances that required hand washing afterward, the clothes we wore there smelled after the stay, insects, hair in the dishes, etc. We don’t want to give a bad review because the host is so nice, but we’re students and for 80€ a night it was a real insult.

Si quieres vivir lo que es una casa japonesa, es el sitio. La señora que lo regenta es muy amable, la cama es cómoda y te deja un pijama preparado para ti. Si eres aprensivo, pasa de largo. Había cucarachas en la ducha, restos de comida de algún huésped anterior en la nevera y una cocina que yo no usaría. Falta mantenimiento y limpieza

Tucked away in the glorious Kiso valley, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The host was very friendly and welcoming, even with a language barrier. A wonderful break from city intensity; cant recommend enough.

Super friendly and helpful lady who assisted us with everything; the stay felt very cozy and truly like “living as a local.”
