The safari lodge sits close to National Park Kumana, Samitha guided us on a fantastic safari, the accommodation is all about safari, the staff are extraordinarily friendly, the food is wonderful (rice and curry) and the surroundings are very quiet compared to nearby Arugambay.

We spent one night here and absolutely loved it! The staff welcomed us warmly, the place has exceptional charm thanks to its location next to the village fields and close to Park Kumana where we did our safari with Samitha. Samitha is the best guide we could have hoped for, a real wildlife expert you’ll find on site. We spent the morning learning and marveling with him, I recommend him 100%! You feel like the whole park is yours and the animals & birds are majestic. In short, we leave with stars in our eyes and fabulous memories! Huge thanks to Samitha and the hotel!

“Lovely place great staff but unfortunately didn’t suit our needs”

The staff and the safari were great, but the location is very remote, tuk‑tuks and cars rarely pick you up and drive to Arugam Bay 25/30 minutes away, and if they do it costs double.

Secluded and private, clean and comfortable rooms. Delicious meals. Wonderful staff - friendly and very helpful. The highlight was the amazing safari hosted by Samitha. Such a treat to get the benefit of his knowledge and passion for wildlife

“Perfect stay for four nights while visiting Kumana National Park”

The lodge is in a quiet rural spot near Kumana National Park, very peaceful, rooms are clean with comfortable beds, and the staff are very helpful. Nothing to note.
