Having five different tubs let me unwind nicely, but although I booked a room advertised as having a nice view, I ended up on the second floor looking straight at a construction equipment rental site with no view at all.

The bed and bathroom were clean, but there was no restaurant, the onsen was far too old, its toilet was a traditional Japanese style that I couldn’t use, the room lacked a phone so I couldn’t report a TV that suddenly stopped working, and at 9 am staff were pounding on doors repeatedly, which was quite startling.

The bath and the staff felt great, with no particular issues.
The large public bath was great.
The staff were really helpful, but I only brought a light robe for the one night, so having the heating locked on was a bit painful.
