The location was great.

We had a room with a direct view of the Danube and Parliament, which was simply sensational, especially at night with the illuminated Parliament. The breakfast buffet was very good, also with a view of the Parliament. The hotel’s location is perfect: all major tourist spots are within walking distance! The parking spots are limited, but the reception staff are very helpful!

The hotel isn’t worth its stars; the glory days are long behind it. The view from the window to the parliament is only available for an extra fee, not worth it. An additional 20€ for street parking was not mentioned during booking. Overall a nightmare. I don’t recommend it.

Right across the river from the Hungarian Parliament building, the hotel is a short walk from tram and metro stops. Tram 19 runs from Budapest Kelenfold train station straight to the hotel, and the M2 metro line crosses the river all the way to Budapest Keleti train station. Hop‑on hop‑off buses also stop here. The room was spacious, featuring a large double bed and a pull‑out couch. The bathroom was lovely, stocked with Rituals toiletries and a large walk‑in shower. The minibar was free, and there was a safe and a Nespresso machine. The highlight was the two big picture windows offering stunning views of the Parliament building.

Breakfast was excellent, and as a Muslim group we still found suitable options among the fruits, breads, cheeses, and vegetables. The room and toilet were both roomy and clean. The staff were great, even giving us a late check‑out because we checked in early that morning. The hotel is about 300 m from the metro and bus stop, so if you’re not keen on walking to the city centre or Chain Bridge, you can use public transport—just buy a 24 h or 48 h travel card, which is cheaper than single tickets. For me, all attractions were reachable on foot.
