“Mi opinión es necesario llevar o rentar un coche y llevar una parrilla eléctrica.”
The place is pretty nice and very quiet. The pool had solar panels, so the water stayed warm during our stay. Only one pool was operational, but that was enough for us since we seemed to be the only guests, so we had no issues. We traveled from Mexico City to Tasquillo by public transport (bus and then taxis) to get there. The restaurants were a bit far from the place. The nearest shop was about a 10‑minute walk. I didn’t like that the place had a restaurant, but it stayed closed the whole time we were there, so it was hard to find food and we had nowhere to heat our meals. Breakfast and lunch had to be requested from the hosts to be brought to us. I booked from Monday to Friday, so I didn’t get the included breakfast because they say it’s only for weekends, so they didn’t include it for us. They have grills for BBQ, but it was easier for us to buy ready‑made food, unfortunately we had nowhere to heat it, which was quite inconvenient. One day a girl was very kind and let us use the microwave, but that was just one day of five, so honestly we found her strict on that issue. I do recommend bringing a car because it would be a bit easier. I didn’t rent a car because I had read some comments that there were nearby places, maybe, but in a car and we actually liked walking. The problem is that, as I said, things are quite remote and walking is hard because some streets don’t have sidewalks, so you end up walking a while on the road.
“Relajación y Comodidad”
You have an amazing time there because they have a pool, a big walking area, friendly dogs, a tennis court, and the rooms are pretty and clean.
“Lovely park and a pleasant roll with a terrazza.”
The resort feels like a park with three pools, and during the week I enjoyed it almost to myself; there are a few friendly dogs and cats, and everything is well maintained. I suspect weekends are much busier and would have been even more fun. On the downside, there was no food available during the week and the hotel is four kms from town, but I did have a fridge for beer, a pollo rostizado, and breakfast from Oxxo.
A very quiet place, great for relaxing. The small pools were empty and they didn’t fill them.
“Buen lugar, si buscas algo tranquilo”
The place is big and everything looks well cared for; the rooms are spacious and even though there are no wheelchair ramps, it wasn’t hard to get into the room. The pool has the right temperature and offers a view of the whole property. The lack of staff is noticeable; when we arrived there was no one at reception, we went to the restaurant and the same person handled all duties (receptionist, waitress, bartender). The weather didn’t help either, we had a heavy rain that stopped us from staying in the pool and made us run to the rooms. Because of the rain the power went out and in my family’s rooms the lights were not enough for the TV or to turn on the lamps. Although we know those things are outside their control, they do affect the stay a bit.
