The renovation was excellent and the place is very clean. It’s very close to a paid parking lot (10 euros per night). The room and bathroom are very spacious and welcoming, so I recommend it. The entrance to the house is a bit awkward, and the balcony view is blocked by nearby buildings.

The location is excellent, close to the city centre. Breakfast was good, with cappuccino, croissant and sandwich, which satisfies those of us used to such breakfasts. The only downside was that we didn’t inform the front desk of our arrival time, so the cleaning staff wasn’t there; we left our bags and walked around while they prepared the room.

The spot is very convenient for walking around, but it’s a nightmare for driving. The facilities are comfortable, with a nice communal kitchen‑dining area at the entrance and the host Flavio was very accommodating. The beds were uncomfortable – very low and the mattresses were already worn out.

The place smells of pervasive mold, damp and mildew. The wall behind the air‑conditioner is black and mouldy, and the surrounding area is also unsightly. The whole neighbourhood looks like slums.
