“It was unpleasant due to dirty room and constant noise from the airplanes.”

I spent two nights there and had bed bugs that bit me. A hole in the bathroom lets mosquitoes crawl into the hallway. Ongoing construction spoils the river view, and airplanes fly overhead every ten minutes, 24/7, making sleep impossible.

Nothing special to like. The room is rundown, and the TV has no power cord—just a hanger.

The hotel is far from the city center and the roads, so it’s quiet, no tourists, and you get a local vibe. Lots of cafés for locals, and you can really feel the indigenous life there. Because it’s not a tourist area, everything is cheap, but you can’t just hop in a taxi to the center; you’ll need to take a bus that runs fairly often. The airport is nearby and taxis there cost almost nothing. The river or canal by the shore gave the room and the outside a terrible smell. You can’t check in early, or you’ll pay a hefty fee (as we did). During our four‑day stay, the staff never came to clean, even though we saw mops and such in the corridor. The shower is combined with the toilet, not separated by a cubicle or even a small curb, and all the water ends up on the floor.
