The place looked stunning and the decor was gorgeous; the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was delicious. However, we weren't fans of Carmelo, and there was nothing to do except visit wineries, which was fine for one day, and although the hotel advertised bikes, we never saw any.

The view from my room was great, but the hotel is pretty pricey. The floor wasn’t clean and the room had a constant damp smell.
