The room was functional, well‑equipped, clean, and the staff were very friendly. However, lunch was often lacking in stronger classic dishes.

It’s in the center and comfortable, but the pool water was unusually cold, especially in December.

We were excited about the hotel’s location, the medical staff, the food, the cleanliness, the spa centre, and the medical treatments, but we were upset that we weren’t told on time that the pool at Hotel Merkur was under renovation and would be closed until the end of the year. We would not have accepted the offer or paid for the package if we had known earlier. We chose this hotel mainly for the pool, so this was a huge disappointment; we had planned a relaxing vacation with swimming. We had to stay without the pool and settle for the medical package, which we didn’t really need. We immediately thought about leaving, but how would you refund us? In a conversation with the front‑desk manager, we learned (whether it’s true or not) that you told us the pool was closed. That means you’re responsible, and it would be proper to refund part of the money we paid. For future cooperation, we expect you to handle this professionally and resolve our request positively.
