The reception was very good, each room had a terrace overlooking the sea, there was a infinity pool, the restaurant served hearty and varied Mauritian specialties, it was very quiet, and the view of the lagoon—one of the most beautiful beaches of Rodrigues—was spectacular.

A stunning hotel, great vibe, friendly staff and an awesome spot right by the local beach. Nothing at all was lacking, it was fantastic.

The location, the friendliness of the staff, the central pool and rooftop, the provision of a room/dry‑bath on departure, the sunset evenings with rum, and the effort to diversify the buffet. Shuttle service to two beaches. And especially the Mivvy taxi driver, outside the hotel, who helped with our visits and added real value as a guide with his knowledge. The only complaint was that the front‑desk staff were a bit sluggish when taking drink orders during meals. Our ground‑floor room had a wall blocking a direct sea view, which was a shame.

It was an excellent stay. We used all the hotel’s services to explore the island, and the staff’s availability and courtesy stood out. The setting is gorgeous, with the beach right across. I recommend the half‑board option, which was a nice choice. The buffet was more or less varied. I also appreciated the table basket with beach cover and daily changed bath towels, the little cooler. Big thanks to our housekeeper. The only downside was the rooster crowing every day from 04:00 to 06:00, so bring earplugs.
