I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs; there are many other options in Saty, and I would choose one of them instead. I travel a lot, and this was genuinely one of the worst experiences I have ever had with the owner or staff of an accommodation. I arrived at around 5 PM, well after the official check‑in time, with a confirmed reservation, but nobody seemed to know anything about my booking. The owner was not there, and I had to wait around 40 minutes for her to arrive. When she finally came, there was no apology or explanation. I was simply given a different room. There was barely any actual check‑in process: nobody asked for my passport, explained anything about the property, breakfast, payment, or facilities. I was basically just pointed towards a room and told to go inside. The worst experience happened the next morning. Before 8 AM, I was woken up by repeated loud knocking on my door. When I got dressed and opened it, the owner was standing there and immediately started speaking to me in an aggressive and confrontational way, demanding to know why I had not come for breakfast. I explained that nobody had ever told me breakfast was included or what time it was served. Her response was that nobody was obliged to tell me anything and that it was my responsibility to check what I had booked. She then started questioning why she had not seen me during my stay. Obviously, I was in Saty to travel and explore the area, I left in the morning and returned in the evening rather than sitting in my room all day. She told me she had come to check whether I was “still alive” because she had not seen me, and even mentioned that they had checked whether the light was on in my room the previous evening. When I pointed out that my belongings were clearly still in the room, she responded that she was legally not allowed to enter the room (how does then happening the cleaning process in normal hotels smh. ) The conversation became even stranger when she complained that I was staying for three nights, saying that normally people only stay for one or two nights and that it was unusual that I had booked three. I have genuinely never experienced an accommodation owner making a guest feel uncomfortable for… booking too many nights at their property. She also suddenly told me that I should have paid cash upon arrival. Again, nobody had told me this during the so‑called check‑in. There had barely been a check‑in at all. Throughout the stay, the overall attitude made me feel as though I was somehow inconveniencing the owner by being a paying guest. Instead of basic hospitality, almost every interaction felt accusatory, rude and unnecessarily confrontational. To be fair, the room itself was fine and I did not have major issues with the accommodation physically. Unfortunately, that does not compensate for the way guests are treated. Basic politeness, clear communication and respectful customer service should be the absolute minimum when running a guesthouse. I stayed for all three nights simply because changing accommodation in the middle of my plans would have been inconvenient, but I would absolutely not stay here again. There are plenty of guesthouses in Saty. Choose another one.

The rooms are clean and there is plenty of space for children to play. The dinner is very tasty. We stayed three nights in the village. We arrived and there was no place for us despite the booking at first. In the end we got something completely different from what we booked and still had to pay the higher price. The staff are very unfriendly. I have never encountered such people on all my travels. At the bill, the higher price was added at the end. When refusing to pay, they threatened that we would not be able to leave the village. I do not want to support such people, because there are many other guesthouses that are helpful and super hospitable. Go somewhere else, they do not deserve it. Also, a daily tour bus arrives with a group of people and it is especially loud in the morning.
