We had a lovely time; the staff were excellent, and although there could be more breakfast options, that’s just a personal preference—no complaints at all 👌

The restaurant is excellent for evening meals, and breakfast was very good, but the room I stayed in looked a little tired; the side panel on the bath was loose and cracked, the bath plug was the wrong size so I couldn’t take a bath, and the sink wouldn’t drain, forcing me to empty most of the water with a glass.

The location is great for a wedding at Lochside, and we received a newly renovated room that was lovely with a nice bathroom, but when we requested early check‑in the room wasn’t ready and we had to change in the bathroom with another guest also heading to a wedding, which was cramped and not ideal for changing into a dress in a small cubicle.

The room was lovely and very big, but we were above the bar and it was noisy, and next to a church where the bells rang every hour.
