I went to Wendy’s house for an orthopedic procedure at Villa Laura. I arrived on foot without moving a car. It was very welcoming and clean.

The location and free parking nearby were good. The electrical system was old; because of a light switch failure I slept an entire night with the light on.

The bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom and shared kitchen were fully stocked, and the air‑conditioning worked well; the staff were very friendly, everything was explained at check‑in, and they responded quickly to any issues. However, late check‑in was expensive, the bathroom flooded partially during the stay and the toilet was problematic – luckily the repairs were quick – and I had trouble keeping the air‑conditioning on when I left, even though it was hot outside; the bathroom door lock broke the next day and I couldn’t close it.
