The hotel is very stylish and sits in a quiet spot, just a short walk from a supermarket and a bus stop. When I arrived in the evening, there was no staff on hand to answer small questions, like where the coffee station was or how to get an iron.

There is no breakfast. There is no personal contact at all, but it’s still a decent distance from the city centre.

The bed and shower are good, and the room is fairly spacious. However, there are steps in and out of the room, and I had just been operated on two weeks earlier, so that was uncomfortable.

The building has a strong character and the room décor is very nice, but the paint needs a touch‑up. The online check‑in details work well when they do, but we unfortunately didn’t receive our code in time, so we had to call reception. They welcomed us nicely and helped immediately. One night we were shocked when we put our child on the window seat to look at the green surroundings; the windows were unlocked against the frame and our child leaned against them, nearly falling out. We couldn’t close the window, so it stayed stuck against the lock for the rest of our stay. Even when we asked housekeeping to fix it, nothing was done. The room is nicely furnished but shows a lot of wear. It could use some love, especially considering the price we paid.
