Silvia and Jorge made us feel at home, and the hostel is highly recommended for countless reasons: the facilities, the comfort, the cleanliness, and the breakfast are all excellent. What I value most is how close the hosts are… Thank you for your affection and kindness 🥰. Nothing else to mention.

The location and the friendliness of Silvia and her husband were positives, as was the cleanliness.

The location and the welcome were good, but the shower was demanding.

The place is decent, close to Segovia and La Granja, and it was clean. I stayed a week at El Hostal La Granja, which feels like an emergency solution when no other options exist. The price is very inflated for a two‑star place, and you need a car to get anywhere. The rooms are very small and uncomfortable because of the hostel’s layout. The views are not impressive, at least not in the room we were given. On top of that, the staff’s attitude feels like an Orwellian dystopia: you’re constantly under control. You can get a scolding if there’s a bit of mess in the room or if you hint at stealing a roll of toilet paper that was taken in an emergency. I think a room‑service would be necessary because the person in charge doesn’t seem to enjoy her job. All in all, it’s a decent place, nothing more. They overcharged me by about 150 euros.
