George Hotel, BW Signature Collection

“Adequate but not excellent as in the past.”

The staff were pleasant and helpful. In room 115 the toilet seat was loose and the shower head couldn’t be adjusted. For the price we paid that was disappointing, and the room was quite small. There is no lift and the stair steps are very narrow in places.

The staff were welcoming and friendly all the time, and the setting and atmosphere were nice. The bed was a bit short, so my feet were just off the edge, but that wasn’t a big deal.

“Very clean hotel with exceptional attentive staff”

The property was lovely, clean, and easy to locate; the receptionist was kind, friendly, and listened to my needs—her name started with a P but I can’t recall it; the waitress at the restaurant was also very attentive and helpful. The only downside was the lack of a lift, though I was told the building is old; the receptionist still assisted me with my luggage.

“Great hotel conveniently placed within easy reach of Norwich town centre”

The room was a large Victorian type, comfortable with tea and coffee facilities. The staff were very helpful and polite, and I found the car park very convenient with a short bus ride into town.

“Overall good”

Staff were lovely, location and as good for city centre. The bed was uncomfortable and noisy. Fire doors opening and closing were noisy too as other guests came and went
