The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the area is lovely and the hotel is well‑situated with many sights within walking distance. Breakfast was superb and left no room for improvement, and we’ll definitely return. Unfortunately our room wasn’t wheelchair accessible; we kept tripping over two steps from the hallway into the living room and bathroom. While showering we had to be careful because a puddle kept forming in front of the tub despite the shower screen, and the tub was very slick, making slipping a real risk.

grande hotel, tutto perfetto ottima la colazione e l'attenzione per il riscaldamento del bagno, ottima posizione centrale, ci ritorneremo senz'altro. se proprio devo fare un appunto i cuscini sono talmente morbidi da sembrare inesistenti, almeno uno andrebbe cambiato, ma è un vero dettaglio

The guest rooms in the historic building with high ceilings are very well designed and practical, and our superior room offered plenty of space. Breakfast ranges from hearty to healthy to sweet, covering every taste. Service is attentive and very friendly. The location is ideal, about 15‑20 minutes on foot to the old town, and bus 216 stops almost directly in front of the building. The bathroom was spacious enough, but a deeper (almost wheelchair‑friendly) shower would have been more comfortable for me than the bathtub with a high lip. During the day we barely heard or saw cars on the street, but at night or in the mornings there was noticeably more traffic in the first‑floor room that faces the street.
