This is an older place, nothing particularly great about it. However, it was clean, the owner and his wife came out to help me into my room. I've got mobility problems and he carried my stuff in and she made sure I was OK, i wasn't feeling very good and needed sleep and quiet when I came in. I also needed to get up early to drive to San Jose Airport the next morning. The place was exactly what I needed, a shower and bed. The price was good too. Simple and quiet. Good people to help me. Really good. There were grown men riding bikes in their parking lot when I came in, it seemed odd. But once I went inside and locked my car and room, I felt more secure

I didn’t stay long enough to try breakfast, so I left early. The room could use a fresh coat of paint to tidy up its look.

The bed was comfortable, the place was relatively clean for its age, and the staff were friendly. The towels were nice, showers hot, and a bottle of water was offered at the front desk. However, weekend rates had nearly doubled, and the room smelled oddly perfumey—probably from the laundry soap. Opening windows and doors helped a bit, but a neutral soap or air freshener would be better.

Conveniently located with plenty of space, the check‑in and check‑out were smooth, and the price was reasonable. The rooms were comfortable even though the building is older.
