The reception was very friendly, the hotel pleasant, the breakfast plentiful, and the view of Murtensee was fantastic.

The location by the lake and close to the old town was great. The room was spacious with a 3‑seat sofa. Breakfast was fine with a wide selection. The terrace looked out onto the lake. However, the room lacked a small desk with a chair. Public parking next to the hotel required payment via QR‑code, which was troublesome if staying several days; re‑payment only worked after the initial time had expired. On sunny days there might be no free parking upon arrival (no reserved spots for guests were seen).

Breakfast was good, though everything felt a bit thin. The shower was very small with a curtain that couldn’t be pulled all the way, leaving a wet floor after use. The hair dryer was somewhat sticky and not very pleasant.
