The room was cozy, clean, excellent, with a good bed, but the cigarette smell persisted despite the windows being closed, and being next to the road meant trucks and bikers constantly disrupted the sleep.

The apartment was brand‑new and spotless, and the property offers both a kitchen and the option of room service or dining out in the garden, which we found to be of good quality during the two evenings we ate there; the staff were very friendly, though the nightstands lacked lamps and the bathroom didn’t have enough light for shaving or makeup.

1. If you’re driving (as we were), there’s always a place to park. 2. The linens and towels were pristine white. 3. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. 4. If you don’t want to fuss with a café or restaurant, you can always order food. 5. Shampoo, shower gel, and a comb were available.
