The positive part first: the location right in the old town was perfect, the city itself is beautiful and easily explored from the accommodation, the brief interaction with the host was very friendly, and the room, though small, was clean and entirely sufficient for my stay. The negative points, however, outweigh the positives for me so strongly that I cannot recommend the place. One window lacked a curtain, so the street lamp shone directly into the room all night. The biggest issue was the noise level: directly below my room there was apparently a large server or network rack, about the size of a refrigerator. Its fan ran all night and was clearly audible in my room. Every few minutes the fan would spin faster and get even louder. The sound reminded me of an electric toy car that keeps starting again and again. I could barely sleep. Combined with the light and the constantly changing noises, the situation at night felt very unpleasant and somewhat eerie. I was actually close to leaving the accommodation during the night. I have never experienced something like this in a single stay. I would write it exactly like that, not just angrily, because that makes the review stronger for other guests who can understand precisely what the problem was.
