Motel Reality

“Pessima estadia, muito barulho de lavanderia, cortina clara que nao tampa a luz. Pessimo demais.”

The breakfast was okay, simple but acceptable. I was sold a room with air conditioning, yet I received one with a fan that only had a very strong setting. The laundry was above the room, and on Sunday at 7 am there was an unbearable noise from the bar; no respect at all. Loud music in neighboring rooms and even among staff. I will never return to this hotel.

“Quarto limpo, atendimento bom, mas funciona como motel! Então, não voltaria.”

The room was tidy and organized, with fresh linens and towels, and the owner kindly gave us a cup of coffee in the morning. However, the place is also a motel, with fixed rates for periods and overnight stays that we only discovered upon arrival, and the acoustics are poor; we spent the whole night hearing moaning and screaming, and because our room was close to the reception, the phone kept ringing nonstop, acting as a full‑time alarm. We woke up about 15 times during the night, and the periodic cleaning and phone noise were typical motel issues. It would have been fine if we had known and chosen it, but we didn’t, so we paid 160,00 reais for a promotional rate to stay in a motel and couldn’t get any rest.

I didn’t stay because the address didn’t match what was promised, and the experience with the Booking app was very bad.

The bathroom was actually pretty clean and organized, which was a plus. That being said, I was surprised there wasn't a bidet next to the toilet - just something I'm used to, I guess.

“Dia do relax”

My room was decent, the bathroom was great, and the bed was spacious - all good things. The place was clean and tidy, which definitely made my stay more enjoyable.
