The Thomas James Hotel boasts Regency-style architecture and is a Grade II listed building situated in a conservation area of Royal Leamington Spa. Located at the bottom of the main shopping high street, it's a two-minute walk from Leamington Train station and offers easy access to the town centre, numerous bars, and restaurants within walking distance.

The location was great, the decor could use some TLC, but for what I paid it was really good value, and the only hiccup was an empty soap dispenser over the wash basin, so I used the shower’s hair and body wash instead.

The location was excellent and parking was available at £5.10 for 24 hours 2 minutes away in Bath Place car park; the staff were very friendly, the overall cleanliness was fine except for the carpet in room 8 on my first night, the cooked breakfast was nice, and it was very good value for money overall. However, the carpet in room 8 was very dirty and worn, and I would have liked a limited selection of breakfast cereals and some orange juice to go with the cooked breakfast.

Great hotel great staff great location. Bit noisy in the morning but it’s on a main road so can’t really get away from that
