The location was good. The bathroom was terrible—no hot water, a drain smell, and a tiny sink.

The breakfast is solid and ample, though there are no options to choose from; it sticks to the classic American fare with a Peruvian twist. The room comes with a minibar and the housekeeping is satisfactory. The only downside is that the room we received had no windows that could be opened, but the view of the volcano is excellent.

The location is great, which was the only thing we found; during the PERUMIN week all other hotels were full, and there’s no real value for the price. We were assigned rooms on the fourth floor with no elevator, so lugging the suitcase up was unpleasant. The shower was a mess – the showerhead fell off when we tried to straighten it because the water splashed against the wall. Towels were missing on the last day; we walked into the shower and had nothing to dry ourselves with.
