The room was clean and the beds were good, and the housekeeper was very friendly. Everything was fine.

The place is a genuine German farm turned guesthouse or B&B. The owner family only speaks German but goes out of their way to help and are very kind, so there was no communication problem. The room is rural‑styled, clean and cozy, with no pretensions, but that's what you expect in such a spot. Breakfast feels like home, homemade, and I loved it. You can say this is an authentic Black Forest establishment. In short, parking, beds, bathrooms, service, and everything else were exactly what we expected.

A truly beautiful working farm with welcoming hosts and a solid base for exploring the surrounding countryside, full of excellent hiking trails and good restaurants such as the Harkhof and the Hasegallis Besenwirtschaft. Excellent value. The Wi‑Fi can be a bit spotty.
