“Decent”

Easy to find. There was no elevator and I was put on the 3rd floor. Very few choices for breakfast. There was a crack pipe in the parking lot beside my vehicle.

Breakfast. I didn’t like sleeping on a bed that had bed bugs; my granddaughter woke up with bites on her body. I took a picture and showed the staff. I asked how he could accommodate me for this bad experience. His response was I will notify the manager. I wish I could have gotten a refund back. We traveled all the way to Tucson and were exhausted and did not expect to have a room with bed bugs to rest in.

“You get what you pay for I was looking for a cheap room for three days and that’s what I”

I’m 65 and a veteran, and there’s no elevator, so I had to climb up to the second floor; I was told the first floor was fully booked, yet no one was there, and the front desk clerk mentioned it was “being renovated” even though there were no work vehicles or any activity. The clerk’s attitude was off, he had tattoos all over his body, and I felt he didn’t care about my stay or try to improve it. I skipped breakfast, which I usually enjoy, because I no longer stay at Motel Eight; it used to be a nice spot, but now the area feels overrun by outsiders and drug users, which matched the vibe I got from the front desk. The room was clean, but the bed itself was not.

For cleaning staff to do a better job, I took the trash out of the trash can and it was disgusting; they are not cleaning around toilet bowls. Never saw any staff other than when we checked in.
