I stayed in a spacious, spotless suite that felt made for families; parking was plentiful and easy to reach, and the hotel sits just a short 10‑minute drive from Newlands town centre and the city. The only drawback was the noticeable noise from the rooms above, but it never really disturbed us.

The location is superb, especially if you’re catching an early‑morning ferry. The building is a bit dated, yet it’s kept very clean and tidy.
