The suite was roomy, the food tasty, the weather pleasant, and the staff kind—overall a fantastic holiday. The sea water was incredibly clean and clear. The room could comfortably fit four adults or a family with kids, which is rare for a hotel in Portofino. Parking in the area is hard to find; using the hotel’s parking service is recommended.

Breakfast was nice, with a great selection of tasty cakes. The VIP experience was good, but as with all good things, Portofino is pricey.

I loved sipping wine on the balcony in the evening and getting lost in thoughts while watching the bay. We were two, but the room is large enough for a whole family with children. The bed was super comfortable! We wanted to dine on the terrace, but that restaurant opens only later in the year.

Portofino feels like home every time we visit. The balcony view is spectacular, the room is very spacious, and the hotel is close to the Portofino pier. The weather isn’t summery, but the view made up for the lack of sun.
