We adore this hotel overlooking Morzine – our third visit and it’s as good as ever; a lovely breakfast in the summer is fine with us, and the bike shed is very useful.

Hotel Le Grand Tetras sits in Morzine’s historic center, just 800 m from ski slopes, offering panoramic mountain views and a tranquil setting. Rooms feature en‑suite baths, flat‑screen TVs, and balconies. Guests enjoy a private car park, ski storage, lounge, bar, and on‑site restaurant (closed Tuesdays in winter). Summer guests relax in the garden, while evenings showcase traditional Savoyard cuisine and weekly themed nights.

The staff welcomed us warmly, the breakfast was very good, there’s a car parking, a beautiful view from the room, and it’s close to the center of MORZINE.

The location is convenient and the owner is helpful, but the rooms feel small.

The front‑desk agent is perfect, friendly, and charming; there’s a small terrace with greenery, a Karcher and a blow‑dryer for washing your bike, and a secure garage – that’s top class. It’s not far from the mountain‑bike trails, though it might be less convenient for skiing… The breakfast was good. We need a simple solution to isolate the person in the toilet, like a curtain, for example.
