“Village was fun, beach and atmosphere very nice, hotel quaint and clean but air conditioning was too loud.”

The location was great, the rooms were nice and clean, the deck was cute, quiet and had coffee and tea, and it looked out to the ocean. The breakfast food tasted like frozen or microwaved fake food, but the selection and quantity were good, and the air conditioner in our room was so loud we couldn't sleep; it was hot and stuffy.

“Friendly staff and excellent location. The room was really clean and roomy.”

The location was great, close to downtown and the water. No drinks or snacks were available for purchase in the lobby.

The room was pretty but not exceptional; ours specifically did not have a balcony, but it was equipped with a fridge, microwave and coffee machine. Overall the property is nice, in a strategic seaside location in downtown Carlsbad. The buffet breakfast included in the room price had a beautiful ocean view.
