Don Bernardo greeted us warmly, and the hotel is right in the heart of town. The rooms are surprisingly spacious for an old building, and waking up to birdsong every morning was a pleasant touch – I’d definitely recommend staying here. [/BODY]

We asked for a quiet room and got a second‑floor spot away from the street, which stayed peaceful. The room was roomy, equipped with a wardrobe, an armchair, a chair and a small desk, and housekeeping came daily with fresh towels.
