A gorgeous pool set in a tranquil corner of nature, and the staff were super friendly, even offering a welcome drink. The rooms were very spacious with a good bed, but the location is a little farther from the restaurants.

The villa sits on a huge private plot with a stunning pool overlooking the lagoon, and the rooms are beautiful with large bathrooms. The food is delicious, yet the place is a bit far from restaurants and the beach, which is tough if you don’t have your own transport. It’s pricey (you’ll know that in advance), and boat trips cost $22 per person for an hour, with no discount for more people. The mattress protector has a plastic underlayer that makes the bed too warm, and no alcohol is served.

The resort is a unique, beautiful property with a small plantation of cinnamon, mango, pineapple, and guava, offering a dreamy view of the lake. With only two rooms, it’s very quiet, personal, and secluded—a real hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the food is freshly prepared in a Sri Lankan style, the Wi‑Fi works well, and the bathroom is large and lovely. We would have liked to stay longer.

I loved staying in this beautiful house, which boasted a spacious grounds with not one, but two double rooms - one upstairs and one downstairs. The proximity of the large pool and the unique view of the lake were major highlights, along with the extremely helpful host who welcomed us with sweet coconut treats. However, we did encounter some mosquitoes due to the location, which led us to have breakfast in our room instead.
