“Pleasantly went above and beyond would love to stay here again”
I booked this place because I needed the cheapest option, and honestly expected the worst, since in other states the price I paid would have meant a moldy, dusty, unsafe room, but they cleaned often. My room had plenty of counter space, a decent fridge, a cutting board, rags for cooking, a little stove, and a lot of closed cabinet storage that’s great for keeping things organized or out of reach for kids. It also had a small shoe closet with plenty of hangers and space. The location was great; as a solo traveler, the first night was perfect. The receptionist was very nice! A weird situation happened in the parking lot that felt unsafe, but I called the front office and she took it seriously and got help. I also liked that if I had any questions I could call the front office and they were actually available to answer them, unlike many other places. The location was again great, out of the busy part of town to avoid traffic, yet there were multiple ways to reach all the places I needed without dealing with construction in the city center. I didn’t enjoy the pool, but many other guests did; it was conveniently located next to a decent gas station and only a couple of minutes from Target, Kroger, etc., for anything I forgot. I travel a lot and have stayed in some really nice hotels and some questionable ones; if I ever return to the area, I would definitely choose this place over a more luxurious one just because of the convenience, customer service, and room accommodations. The shower faucet seemed a little old or maybe not used in a while; it was hard to pull the shower part up to switch the water, but once I loosened it I had no issues. I could only get warm to hot water, not cool, which is important for people with sensitive skin or hair color; I could see how people might have issues. Since this is a weekly rate hotel, you might get different types of people and possible noise complaints, but it didn’t bother me. The front desk staff had already accommodated me to change rooms when I had an issue upon check‑in, so I’m sure they could find a room if you have any problems. I generally feel this is a place where you can bring up an issue and the staff will do their best; obviously, if you don’t communicate, your issue won’t get fixed.
