The room was cute and the space was nice! I loved the blackberry yoghurt. The bed wasn’t very comfortable.

The spot is great for exploring the Cairngorms, but Grantown itself offers little to do.

The breakfast was varied and tasty, and the reception by the hostess was also excellent. The room was quite cold during our stay.

The welcome was warm and the breakfast generous, with a thoughtful pre‑ordered option to cut waste. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location was ideal. My room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and tea/coffee supplied—a nice touch. Shower toiletries were high quality. The only downside was that when I returned to the house it was dark; a bit of lighting on the outside steps would have helped.
