“BELLISSIMO”

The owner Mahmood was extremely friendly, helpful and chatty. His breakfast was the best we had during all our stays in Egypt (the falafel were the best ever) and we strongly recommend the dinner too, which was very plentiful and tasty. The terrace is a plus, especially for its stunning view of the Hatshepsut temple. The overall cleanliness could be better, but it still meets higher than average Egyptian standards. It would be nice to have some bathroom accessories (a wall‑mounted hair dryer and a small bathroom set) and even just a small bottle of water upon arrival (though Mahmood is ready to meet any request).

“Great experience! Recommended for solo travelers”

I spent two nights at the Cleopatra hotel. It’s in a great spot, near restaurants and the Nile. The view from my room was breathtaking, and there’s a lovely rooftop where you can order breakfast or dinner. I had breakfast and it was very nice. Mahmoud was a great host, very helpful and friendly, and the rest of the staff were also good. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe all the time and had a very good experience. I totally recommend this place and will stay here next time I visit Luxor.

Very good value. Friendly staff. The fridge and A/C were super cold. Don’t expect high‑end, but it’s definitely worth it for the price. Very quiet.

“Séjour à louxor de 2 nuitées”

Ideal location, 5 minutes from the ferry. The staff are very kind, especially Mr. Mahmoud who helped us book a great hot‑air balloon flight. An experience you absolutely have to do in Luxor! What I find a bit lacking is the maintenance of the equipment, but that’s understandable for the price. It’s a good hotel for people who spend their day outside.

Clean, comfortable, people are very friendly. It’s not in the center of Luxor, you have to cross the Nile. The breakfast didn’t appeal to me but it’s fine.
