The service was very friendly and helpful, which created a pleasant atmosphere on site. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were good, and the balcony overlooking the pool area was nice. The breakfast was delightful and could be enjoyed on the restaurant terrace. The pool and pool area were neat and well maintained, with sun loungers and umbrellas. We recommend renting a car; it is a short drive to Siracusa town and Ortigia and only a quick hour or two to the beautiful baroque towns in the area, to Etna and Taormina – and under an hour to and from Catania airport. The fridge/minibar in the room had a slightly unstable temperature, and the shower water was also unstable at night on the days when there were many guests.
