I booked a room with a toilet, but they handed me a room without one, and the place was filthy. The shared room felt like a potential infection risk, and the bed had someone else's hair on it, the pillowcase was very dirty, the table was unused, the floor was dusty, and there was oil everywhere—just awful. I paid £68 for nothing and will never stay here again.

The owner who welcomed us was friendly and helpful, but when we arrived they told us the room we had booked was unavailable and we’d have to find other accommodation that night, which was stressful. Thankfully the owner called and eventually gave us a room after we’d driven around half of London searching for a place. They had promised free on‑site parking, yet there were only two spots and both were taken, so we had to park on the street under restrictions and risked getting a ticket if we hadn’t left early. When we finally got to the room it was very dirty, with mold on the ceiling and what looked like dried blood on the sheets, which made us uneasy. The bedding was stained, dusty, and clearly unwashed; one pillow had a wet patch in the middle, and the towels were dirty and dusty too. We barely slept because the bed was uncomfortable, and at 4 am we were woken by a steady drip from the mold patch in the ceiling. After that we decided we couldn’t stay in a room that felt like it might collapse at any moment, so we left. It’s a shame because a little TLC could have fixed it, but we couldn’t risk staying there.

The room was cramped, the TV had no channels, the heater was noisy and right next to my room, and the central heating was initially off but was later repaired.
