The Fletcher Hotel Restaurant De Witte Raaf is a 4-star hotel nestled in a peaceful region, a 20-minute walk through woods and dunes from the beach. Located near a charming shopping area, it offers easy access to cycling, walking, and horse riding in the surrounding dunes. Warmly decorated rooms and sunny terraces create a homely atmosphere, complemented by an excellent restaurant and cosy bar.

The location and surroundings were good, but the décor was very old‑fashioned, the garden smelled musty and was neglected.

The breakfast was decent, but the hotel is old and urgently needs renovation; it’s worn out, the beds are too soft and left me with back pain, the bathroom fixtures are outdated, a glass panel between the tub and divider leaks and is loose, two tiles need replacement, there’s no mini‑fridge in the room, and paper peels from the wall. Dinner took 55 minutes after ordering the main dish, the plates were cold, the Aldorada fish was lukewarm along with the warm vegetables, and we waited another half hour for dessert; when no one responded we just got up and left. It was clear the staff had been busy all day, friendliness was far from present, and the service was even worse. We had a roof above us to sleep under, but it’s not worth repeating.

Mini fan added to the room even tho it must be like 10 years old with burned coils hardly spinning was better than nothing 😏. Again an overpriced middle of nowhere nothingburger hotel. No aircon, basic amenities no minibar when the supermarket only sells uncooled drinks great. Also nonrefundable after booking thats why I stuck with it. small room small tv, not a good for its value
