The highlight was Valerie as host; she was very personal and offered great suggestions. Each morning we ate breakfast with another guest on the backyard patio, which was lovely. The rooms were clean and cozy. The place is well positioned, within walking distance of the city center yet far enough to stay quiet. We had a car and Valerie provided parking right next to the house, which is otherwise hard to find in Bordeaux. No complaints.

Our hostess made it possible for us to explore a lot of Bordeaux in just one day, giving us a city map with the main sights, nearby eateries and public‑transport tips so we could get around quickly; when we had to leave early she arranged a room‑service breakfast so we could fend for ourselves. The room suffered from little natural light, but the standing lamps added a nice ambience.

The welcome was friendly, Valérie was very available, the location is perfect—just a 5‑minute walk to Beaulieu, and the breakfast was very good. Nothing else.
