“Hier würden wir NIE WIEDER buchen”
The employee who spoke fluent German brought us a topper for the hard beds on the second day and was very nice. Grecotel promises “Luxury Hotels” but we were disappointed; we didn’t find luxury in this hotel. All‑inclusive should have warned us. The alcoholic drinks were inferior, and the wines varied a lot. The food was below average; we had better quality in Bali. The beds were very hard until we complained and received a topper the next day. The room needed extensive renovation; the balcony door couldn’t be closed (there was a ridiculous hook). The room’s furnishings gave the feel of a hospital room (see photo). The shower was cramped and the faucet covers were missing. Check the photos. Two bands played directly under our room, and even with earplugs we could hear the lyrics. The staff at the beach bar were unfriendly and didn’t know the drinks on their own menu.
