The countryside setting was beautiful, and the historical links to the huts were great. The signage didn’t show up well in the dark when I got there late, so I only found it by accident up the farm track.

The spot was on a sheep and cattle farm, and the mountain views were fantastic. The cabin was rustic, which added to its charm.

I stayed at Fallow Hut and it was set in a lovely, tranquil, scenic spot. We liked hanging out on the deck with a glass of wine and taking in the calm. We also took a pleasant walk through part of the farm toward the airstrip. The hut itself was well equipped and comfortable, and the chocolate cake was delicious. Thanks to Binds and Tim.
