The place was clean and comfortable. However, the freezer was covered in frost and poorly maintained, and the bike we wanted to borrow was so rusty it looked almost discarded, making it hard to use.

From 2026/4/10 to 12, we stayed two nights in a Japanese-style room; the other room was empty, so the whole guesthouse was available and very comfortable. The first floor’s outer side had a foyer, toilet, and bath; the middle living area led to a small room and a washing machine. The second floor had two rooms: on the right a large Japanese-style room, on the left a small twin-bed room. Between the two rooms there was a simple sink for washing up, and they provided toothbrushes, shower products, and bath towels. A drying rod was available. The kitchen had an IH stove, oven, fridge, microwave, and cooking utensils, making self-catering easy. Free parking was marked at the entrance, and the key was left in the mailbox at the door. The property is within walking distance of Sugetsu Shrine and Kamikura Shrine! The host never appeared, but responses to questions were very quick, which was reassuring. The only downside was that if another guest stayed in the other room, it might be a bit inconvenient.

The application received a clear response. There was no explanation that the bed was a futon, not a mattress. Coffee, black tea, and green tea were listed as available, but the coffee was empty. The dishes were listed as available, yet there were not enough; there were no small plates, and the cups were dirty, so I didn’t want to use them. A broken glass was left in the room, which was dangerous and should be removed. The room’s cleaning was not thorough. Disappointing.
