The breakfast was decent, the location was fine, beach access was good, and the ocean water was clean. The room wasn’t clean; I found a cockroach under the bed, and everything feels outdated. The internet was very slow and I couldn’t watch TV, and the massage prices were too high.

The hotel on the beach is very comfortable. The facilities feel a bit old.

The location is fantastic with beautiful views, a clean beach, and very welcoming staff. The island‑style décor is pleasant, everything in the room works properly, and the bar offers tasty cocktails and shakers. Breakfast is hearty, and housekeeping cleans daily very well. However, a few times during the week there were cockroaches in the room despite the good cleaning; it’s unavoidable in that climate but still unpleasant. The coffee at breakfast leaves something to be desired.

The place is okay, toward the end of the beach and a bit quieter. The room we booked as a garden room turned out to be across the road from the main hotel; walking across the road toward it, alarm bells rang and it looked scruffy from the outside with an unkempt garden behind a corrugated metal fence. Inside, the room was dated and scruffy, full of midges that came through an open shower window that wouldn’t close. The room was clean but awful. We went back to reception and were told the only other room in the hotel was a standard room, so we paid extra to switch. The new room was only slightly better, still dated, and the air conditioning needed a cardboard piece to stop rattling. The main hotel grounds are dated and need a complete makeover. Breakfast was not remarkable, with little fresh fruit; the highlight was having eggs cooked to your preference, but I struggled to find something appetising to go with them. Out of all the hotels I stayed in while in the Philippines, this was by far the poorest.
